Bondi 7am – knee to waist high, weak
and messy

Hi there…bit of a dull morning down at Bondi with overcast skies and
tiny, weak waves. About 6 guys out grovelling, but I think give it a miss
and do something else.

Not much push in this South swell. The wind is variable
at the moment and will swing to the NE 15/20 knots this afternoon. I am
predicting a flat spell for a few days so good time to fix those dings,
clean the car, re-wax the boards, spend time with the girl/boyfriend (points),
watch surf movies and tell all ya mates about Aquabumps.

The world record for biggest wave ever ridden was
officially shattered on April 16, 2004 at the Billabong XXL Global
Big Wave Awards
presented by Monster Energy when Pete
Cabrinha
of Hawaii picked up a check for $70,000 to match his
amazing ride on a 70-footer. Cabrinha, 42, rode the wave on January 10
of this year at the break known as Jaws on the North Shore of Maui, near
his home in Haiku. Check
