Big Wednesday.
If you’re sitting behind a computer reading this email you’re in the wrong place. Sorry. Sunshine has broken out as we cook up to 26 degrees. Winds are currently W/NW. Um that’s perfect offshore kids. Winds will swing NE later today. The water is still a warm 21 degrees suitable for boardies (lap it up before we head into winter). Erm…did I also mention its 6-8 foot and crankin’? Ya. You read it right. Swell has come up overnight and the fields are full of clover. Bondi isn’t the place to be…is so straight it’s ridiculous. Barely get to your feet on sets before it shuts down. I did see an 8 foot set break across the whole bay. Experienced surfers only today…so much water moving. Somewhere is going off today. Just need to find it. Go see.

Tomorrow.
As per today…maybe 20% smaller. Say no more.

Bondi barefoot.
It’s on again this year – Bondi Bare Foot Soft Sand Race. 3 races – 10km, 4km, and the Barefoot bolt. 29th April 2007 at 9am. Click here to enter

Bondi Boardriders back on.
This Sunday marks the first contest of the Bondi Boardriders 2007. The forecast is looking hot for the 1st comp – solid looking 6 foot swell and offshore. This year there will be 3 age groups doing battle – cadets, juniors and opens men’s. The Boardriders currently have 3 surfers competing on the world qualifying series and two on the Billabong Junior Series. New members are always welcome and can sign up on the day and anyone who feels they can contribute in anyway is also more than welcome.  We would like to thank in advance all non-competitors for staying out of the competitors way and allowing them preference with their waves…
