Yesterday’s decent east swell has dissipated over night leaving 1-2ish footers down at Bondi this morning. A more east exposed beach may have an extra foot slapped on that, but is small and clean – seriously lacking power – suggest Mal riders or beginners only. The good news is that we’re spoilt with a sunny, 25 degree spring-like day…bang in the middle of winter. Yeah that’s right. In fact tomorrow same same, so start working on your excuse to take a day off and enjoy our summer flashback.
500 girls in bikinis on Bondi (world record attempt)
Thought that would get your attention. No, not some MSG induced wild dream. Yep, the world’s biggest swimsuit shoot will be held on the 26 September 2007, between 10am – Noon (in front of the North Bondi SLSC). Put that one in the diary. Cosmo and Venus Breeze are planning to get over 500 girls in bikinis, breaking a Guinness world record…all in the name of 30 days of Fashion and Beauty in September. They’re looking for girls to participate, register here and yes…there will be shots on Aquabumps kids.

Bondi’s Brad Valenti Surf Comp was won by Perth Standlick this year. Frothin’ Ian Wallace second, Dave Key third and Azza Coot fourth.
