the plan
Ok so our little plan nearly came together today. Yesterday’s turbulent southerlies have subsided, sunshine has returned, and yes, the swell has come up around the 4-5 foot solid mark. Yet the ocean remains agitated producing wonky, random chunks that mainly close out. Patience may pay today, as a little more water closer to the 12:30pm high tide should make it more rideable. The early morning low (5:50am) just didn’t do it any justice. It will also get bigger with the incoming tide and a growing swell. I would be tempted to drive around searching for a better peak.  Water is 20 degrees, max 22 on land and the winds will kick in from the NE (18-23 knots). So this south swell should be getting into a bay where it will be offshore for you.

new wheels
Shameless plug – if you are looking for some new wheels this summer, local fella Gideon makes a good little set for your feet. Anything with no laces suits me. Just buy em online – www.gideon.com.au

namotu
So many people are asking me about Namotu, Fiji (my last trip with that crystal clear water). Well, if you’re keen to go just email michaelle@waterwaystravel.com – keep in mind they are pretty heavily in demand. Say you saw this on Aquabumps…

Have a great day::uge
