The southerly shattered the good waves of the weekend. Some smoookin’ waves Friday/Saturday and early Sunday. These pics from yesterday’s session out of town – surfer: the lightning fast aerial king Kirk Flintoff.
Currently we have a heavy onshore/1-2 foot combo. Ain’t pretty. I guess the fact that only 1 guy was out at Bondi @ 7am says it all – good day to get some work done. The talk of the weekend is the shark attack on Friday night down at Bondi. First one in 70 years. Scott Wright was swimming near the Bergs when he was bitten on his arm, swam ashore, and passed out on the rocks before his girlfriend found him in the morning. Check smh

For some reason lots of people think the Aquabumps Gallery is open only on weekends and we hang out on the beach for the rest of the time. Good idea but not feasible. We’re open during the week – normally wed-fri 10am to 5:30pm.
