Quite an eventful morning.
BREAKING NEWS: Not only is it 6 foot with larger bomb sets, a dead body has been spotted floating off the south end of Bondi. Unconfirmed reports say it was a surfer, with leg rope and board attached – could have been early morning surfer or last night’s sess. Police choppers, Lifeguards jetskis, Police boats have been searching for the body since 8:20am – nothing found yet…
It’s still big and dangerous. Not a day for beginners. The slight East onshore is creating bumpy closeouts. Not much on offer – maybe stick to the north end of Bondeye – the odd left (2-3 foot). Tomorrow there should be more north in the wind which will clean it up (hopefully). Huge high tide at 9:40am. Barely any room on the beach left…
