Since my neighbour Cakey thinks he’s Corey Worthington and kept me awake all night with his mid-week party – well at least Corey has more than 1 friend – whatever – I was up for the early. Real early. And that ended up being a good thing – see, in the 1st 10 minutes of sunrise, I sat and watched South Bondi spit out 4 tubes on a shallow bank (rare). Tide was just right at around 5:50am and only a hand full out. Waves got up around 4-5 foot on sets, average around 3 foot. Winds backed right off and it’s so super clean today. It was good Bondi. Then as we got closer to the 10:25am high tide, it porked right up into burgers. The show was over. Moral of the story is somewhere would be smokin’ today (SE swell, 10 sec period, 2 knot offshores, 22 degree water, 25 and sunny on land). But with a full moon we’ve got dramatic tides…so timing is important…later::uge

ps – No dead body found yesterday. Lifeguards calling a hoax spotting
