Swell is up kids, but she’s bumpy as hell. Bondi has squeezed the most out of this small south-east swell (chest to head high sets at 7am today) but mostly closing out of just random froth. Tomorrow morning should be cleaner with Westerlies predicted but will be a tad smaller. Nothing that great to report over the next few days, in fact its been a while since anything over 2-3 foot. Pray for swell.
Greatest surfer of all time
Kelly Slater, 8 time ASP world champion has won the Rip Curl Pro at Bells yesterday. Unbelievable. I mean 36 year old Slater launches a huge air in the final minute to beat Bede Durbidge who lead the way throughout the final. So now that’s 2 wins from 2 ASP tour events. Can this year be 9 world titles?
