happy dayz 18th June 2008
Happy days down at Bondi this morning. I’d say there would be a few people late for work. The winds are perfectly offshore (W) and the swell has settled. 3-4 footers are on offer and the sunshine has decided to join the party. Nice little section on the left in the middle of Bondi. Good waves right through to Sunday (quite decent size on the weekend) so no need to panic and get down here…
Totally Random Information
This Sunday there is a big concert at North Bondi RSL to protest the slaughtering of whales. It’s looking rather large. ALL MONEY raised is going to DAVE RASTA’s surfers for cetaceans, and Jeff Pantukhoffs the whaleman foundation. The day starts at 1pm with a aboriginal whale call then followed by the concert – see website for more info. :: In the Maldives, the highest land point is 2 meters (hence it’s the flattest country in the world) also its 99% water, 1% land :: Australian Tony Hinde who introduced surfing to the Maldives died of a heart attack whilst surfing pasta point on the 27th May 2008.
