Random Picture Show 22nd August 2008
Hasn’t stopped raining all morning so I thought it would be a good idea to dig into the archives for some unpublished gold. I shoot on average 50-60 shots every day, you normally only see 5. The beastie server is jam packed with random snaps.
Bondi is looking rather ugly today. 1 foot. Grey. Wet. Heaps of road water runoff. Deserted. Good day to work.
Swell is inbound. By nightfall you should see a dramatic improvement in size as the weekends south swell kicks in (6ft tonight). The flanking 20 knot SSW wind is going to cause problems and deteriorate surface quality. Tomorrow looks sizey but windy – go to southern protected corners (e.g. Manly), Sunday the wind backs off a little and the swell period improves slightly – might be the better option.
