After spending a week with 20 friends on a secluded 1 acre island, returning to 31 degrees and a crowd of 30,000 on Bondi was quite a bit to get your head around. What happened? This hot weather is nuts – and 30 degrees again today followed by a wintery 20 tomorrow. So make the most of it whilst it’s here, cooler temperatures for the rest of the week.
There are small, beginner-friendly waves at South Bondi today – 2 foot. Swell origin is ENE. Winds currently NW with thunderstorms developing later as the winds blow hard (30 knots later tonight)
The forecast for surfing is quite depressing. 1-1.5 foot all week so maybe time to break out that get fit summer program – like the other 2,000 down at Bondi this morning.
