Sol cutting red tape

dozer dribbles

It’s a bit like checking your shares…disappointing. That swell we had yesterday has been knocked around by the howling northerlies, leaving dribbles this morning. Bondi had micro 1-2 footers with absolutely no push. Pack of hungry mal riders in the middle having some fun.

That dreaded ‘Dozer is back on the beach straightening the beach from its natural curves. Curves = Rips. Straight = safe, but shapeless closeouts (well that’s my take on things)

Crazy skies this morning. Apparently I missed a bakin’ sunrise of colour (so everyone told me when I got down there), the tail end cloud formations weren’t too shabby. Thunderstorms predicted today (max 24) expect NW/NE winds at 15-20 knots. Rain again tomorrow and a slight improvement in swell Saturday afternoon. Sunday has a growing new south swell and Monday should be a good surf day.

Don’t forget Miss Bondi is on this Sunday at 2pm, Beach Road Hotel in the main bar downstairs.

Christmas orders

Hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner as another digit ticks over. Christmas orders have begun in the Aquabumps Gallery – please allow 3 week minimum timeframe to get anything framed in time to stick under the tree. Save disappointment and get organised, come into the Aquabumps Gallery this weekend open 10am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday, 98 Brighton Boulevard North Bondi (right behind the North Bondi RSL). If you can’t be bothered coming in, you can always order online…even if you’re overseas and wants presents sent locally – we can manage the lot. Call the Gallery hotline + 61 2 9130 8371 and we’ll chuck in some steak knives.
