Running on empty 19th August 2009
Yesterday’s one-hit-wonder-swell has ran out of gas. Bondi is probably the only place breaking this morning as it picks up all the fruits of a small south swell. In saying that, it’s only 1-2 foot, so nothing to get that excited about unless you weigh under 40 kilograms. I’d expect it to be pretty flat this afternoon, tomorrow and Friday. Perhaps a small weekend wave – but apart from that – a very quiet week down the beach.
This weather just keeps on banging on with the same tune – sunny, 20 degrees and moderate NW winds. Unbelievable. About 5 weeks in a row now. Freak winter weather.
