Weed 22nd January 2010
The weed has taken over Bondi…the recent rogue swell has uprooted tonnes of seaweed and dumped it at our local. Getting in and out ain’t easy – maybe leave the leggies at home.
There is small waves this morning…as our booming swell has evaporated…1-2 footers and junky. Not pretty.
Hot weekend install for us, 39 tomorrow and a little bump in swell on Sunday – not much until then – sorry kids. In fact the swell radar sheds little hope for us over the next 7 days…looks like all the energy was spent on Wednesday.
The Aquabumps Gallery will be open 10am to 6pm all weekend as usual – closed on Monday and the public Aussie day holiday. Good chance we’ll be shooting from a helicopter on Australia day – around 2:30 to 3:30pm above Bondi beach if you’re keen to get in a shot like this.
