Turneresque cloud formations

Vapour

The waves were quite unimpressive this morning. The early low tides were making the 1-2 footers flop flat on a bank, robbing you of a decent ride. I don’t recommend surfing it.

The clouds, however, were very impressive. Vapour buckled and stretched over Ben Buckler like a Turneresque master piece.

The weather is outstanding and worthy of a lunchtime swim. Perhaps on the higher tide there will be a beginners wave…or take the mal for a spin – but that’s about it.

Perusing the week’s swell charts reveal an obvious lack of swell energy. All week long we’re going need alternative activities to keep us busy. Sunday a new swell will arrive – but until then, sit tight.

Bondi Sizzle

You may of heard about Bondi Sizzle. It’s a Bondi Beach Community festival being held in May 2010 (that’s next month – soon). Really smart people involved : Maruice Terzini (Icebergs), Stevie Gorrow (insight), Murray Bell (Design is Kinky), Brian Taranto (Love Police), Stab, Lisa Smith (Bondi Style)… and we’re doing something. Read this thing if you want to know more about what’s happening in the hood.
