Swimmercam, 18 degree water...frosty but refreshing

Bakin’

What a nice morning. Cooking with warm temps early. Every man and his lycra was out doing something at sunrise this morning – hard to sleep in with all this early morning sunlight. Surfing wasn’t too high on the priorities this morning as waves dribble in at 1 foot. Perfect if you’re new to the sport.

Tomorrow afternoon another south swell arrives with plenty of wind. Thursday looks to be the day of the week…let’s just hope it’s not too wobbly from the strong wind agitation.

High tide 11am, low tide 4:30am and 5:30pm. Max 24 degrees today. Not long peeps until day light savings starts – this Sunday 3rd October.

It’s not often you see the world’s best skaters hitting our Bondi bowl. Check Shaun White doing his thing. Film by Rob Norman and Justin Barnwell.

We’ve changed our email template (subtly)…let me know if you are experiencing any new problems. thanks, yooj

  1. 18c! Jeez, that is nice. The water here is Cape Town is sitting @ 11c (gets colder in the summer!), every time I put my foot in the water makes me wish I was back at home in the ‘Bra or down Benders way.
