I saw a dude paddle out at south Bondi, shortly to return to the beach dissatisfied with the whole ordeal. I then saw another lone wolf drift out in the middle of Bondi, copped a rinsing, then returned to the beach, off to work. Further north at Mirra Kirra (aka North Bondi), I saw 3 frothers in boardies pick off a few waves…which…was surprisingly surfable. Still only rating 2/10 as it’s onshore, wet’n’grey 4-5 foot out there. Nicer in here.

A little late this morning checked it out at 9.00 and yesterdays was still up, here at 12.30 fine and sunny in Canberra but that winter feel is in the air. Great art decco buildings. Surf like this is what I usually see at Narooma when I get a chance to go down. The board has not been brought out once so far this year.
