Stealth 21st April 2011
This morning I wasn’t expecting much. The swell websites all talked 1’s and 2’s…period was down and last night’s check showed little promise. Well, something arrived, mostly closing out but definitely 3 foot sets. The odd left opened up to the beach in the southern corner of Bondi. The odd right in the middle – better on a higher tide (11:50am). Nice golden light, great time of year huh.
So it’s Easter tomorrow, the Aquabumps Gallery is shut for a few days, and you’re hittin’ the road in search of uncrowded perfect waves. Well pack a fat/big board, ‘cause me thinks it’s going be small throughout the break. Gravitate to the south facing swell magnets and you’ll have a bit of fun. Good weather tomorrow, possible showers for the rest.

(3 foot set lefts in the corner Image No. 23636) yes that miserable old fart, cant stand him. knows how to ruin a nice morning surf for anyone he hasn’t known for twenty years. Cant accept he surfs a populated spot and cant be tolerant of others. Depressing old man.

i agree with the rest about that old grumpy fella in last bottom pic, he’s just a wankerstain, I didn’t smash him before just of his old age, felt sorry for him.

Its just not cool to be aggressive and have a go at people over nothing what ever age you are Kev. People SHOULD say. People are bound to rub each other up the wrong way on occasion in such a busy spot . but that’s different from continual anti-social behavior.

Hi Jez, odd, I’ve tested it thoroughly on Firefox4 (as that is what I use). It is only meant to appear once, the 1st time you ever look at Aquabumps. Unless you’ve customised your options, and blocking web cookies in your preferences. can you confirm?

@ Ben – yep, I use tilt shift lenses. A few of them.
@ Michael – I am confused what everyone is talking about in these comments. I don’t know the long boarder who seems to be not so popular out there – got it…

im just trippin uge… the bloke in the shot looks like a lego man standing on some small steps.
Either that, or the steps are REALLY large slabs of concrete with some BIG cracks? …….
or am I just a little too facetious?
