Summer solstice 10th October 2012
Good morning…
The sun now rises out to sea instead of hiding behind our most photographed Ben Buckler headland. This creates a nice clean angle for the sun to soak the back of our waves in Bondi – putting out golden hues. It’s great how the seasons have their own signature light. Today’s glarey pic set depict a typical summery setup down at Bondi.
Enough herbal rant.
We’ve got waves! Fat ones all porked up by an early morning high tide. It’s not big but fun – waist to chest high with bigger sets. Nice and clean down there as the winds have backed right off. Finally. East winds will blow later (no good). Nice day to boot (23).
