My Apology

Ahem…just clearing my throat. I think I owe you a huge apology. The wide spread chaos and panic stimulated by yesterday’s Aquabumps incorrect editorial has finally calmed down. The street riots have dissipated. The burning cars have been extinguished. I’ve learned my lesson.

I am sorry for sending you in a spin. Mother’s day is NOT this weekend but the following weekend on Sunday May 8. I am still slappin’ myself, slappin’ the work experience kid and slappin’ my keyboard. Thank you for the 4,756 messages of correction. Let’s look at the bright side of my mistake:

1. You have no excuse now for not buying an epic Mother’s Day gift. You have plenty of time and it’s high on your radar, early.
2. I now know a few of you really do read Aquabumps – typos, misguided journalism and all! Not just looking at the pretty piccies. I salute you.

My penance. 100 push ups and some more pretty sunrise pics in your inbox. Fresh from Bondi beach this morning. Wow, what exquisite colour graced our beaches this morning. It was one of those sunrises where cars pull over on Campbell Parade…jaws dropped…then 2 minutes later all grey – off to work! Waves – small and dropping. Pass.
