Good old Bondi. Good place to live.

Trickle

I was so happy to see a little trickle of swell this morning. It’s a sign of things to come. Bondi had waist to the odd chest high waves. It wasn’t pumping but it was fun.

The sunrise this morning was quite monochrome. Once again it’s offshore, typical of Autumn.

Next week I am making my annual pilgrimage to the Mentawai Islands of remote Indonesia. I reckon it’ll be my 17th voyage. I love it there. The people of Mentawai are devastatingly poor and isolated from the Indonesian mainland. They need help. Surfaid help these people. Next Friday 27th May SurfAid will be hosting the SurfAid Cup down at Bondi Beach (all day surf tag event). Aquabumps, of course has a team running and we are seeking some of your hard earned cash. Just think of it this way, you read Aquabumps for free…so a lil’ donation to our main charity wouldn’t hurt. Just a few bucks or a brick…whatever you can spare. C’mon…please?
