Meet Dane
Meet Dane. Dane’s a good bloke. He works hard in the Sydney CBD for a bank as a analyst. He gets paid decent green but spends far too many hours in the office – he’d like to be surfing a hell of a lot more. He gets out at Bondi for the early morning session in summer, but not in winter. Dane surfs pretty good – he surfed better when he was a grom without a nagging job. But he’s a happy, positive guy: aged 30, lives in Paddington, drives a 4WD, loves the beach, attached but unmarried, likes the finer things in life, loves good food and dines out regularly (probably too much), reads the financial review for kicks and is addicted to Aquabumps… It gives him a 2 minute holiday in his busy working day. He opens the email newsletter religiously and has done so for 3 years. He’s got 15 of his mates on the Aquabumps mailing list and complains regularly that he never stars in the daily photos.
