In the south end of Bondi you can get an elevated angle onto the surf. I shot this image from Icebergs Swimming Club.
It was a early summery morning, no wind and the surface of the water was silky smooth.
As the sun was rising it highlighted the ripples on the waves face as a lone board hangs dangerously loose and a surfer paddles over the crest.
These are good conditions for Bondi, especially when its not crowded like this.
