Post Bali trip, I was quite surprised to see that little pile of sand in the southern end hanging in there. The lil’ swell magnet bank continues to break, even in this small southerly wind swell. With a wave period of 7 you can’t expect much power, but it looked like 2-3 foot of fun this morning. Currently offshore winds, onshore SE later today. Swell will kick around to the SE tomorrow, and should maintain size if not a little bigger. Enjoy.

Always good to return from a trip in Bali and discover that bird flu has made its way to the island of the Gods. An Indonesian lady and her child died yesterday from the deadly Flu strain H5N1.
