blow
The unrelenting onshore easterlies continue for another day. Yawn. Pass the crumpets. 20 knots of hack job really. A few lone wolves out this morning optimistically searching for a rideable peak. Odd 3 footer in the south end of Bondi (kinda) wedged up – Perth found a few little ramps. Otherwise an infrequent wave broke against the north end. Ok, perhaps fuggedaboutit and wait until next Monday when the winds finally swing offshore. The weekend looks – well, wet with bad weather mostly and onshore surf conditions. Sunday will see a dramatic rise in size (6-8 foot range), but the winds will still be light onshores with 9 knots of SE.

You know where we should be right now – WA down south e.g. Margies. I’ve seen some smokin’ pictures from the past few days of 8 metre swell. I knew I should have gone and kicking myself now dammit. It looks as big as big gets.

gallery open this weekend
If you’re not using this APEC excuse to pack up the car and bake it to a country wave, come see the Aquabumps gallery – hell it’s not like you’ll be surfing of nuttin’. OPEN FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 10am to 4pm. If you can’t make it into the gallery I’ve prepared the lazy man’s flick book online, so you can browse my shop and call (02)9130 8371 to get yourself some artwork for that blank wall.
