fatboys
It appears that last’s weeks persistent east swells have finally faded. We had a good run though… Today it was a dribbly 2 foot…bit bumpy as well. The morning high tide was fattening up anything resembling a wave. Perhaps closer to the 3:45pm low tide you might see a slight improvement – hell the sun will probably shine by then (thick overcast now). These mini swell remnants will continue to fade during the week – good week to focus back on work.

busy
Bondi is the busiest place on the planet at the moment. Last night’s mugginess pushed thousands of people down the beach for a swim. At 7pm last night I could not believe the crowds (oh and the good light/haze). At sunrise this morning its always a laugh to see the party left overs passed out clean head first into the sand – still can in hand.

MP
Between 1972 and 1977 Michael Peterson was the best surfer in Australia. There is a fine line between madness and genius and the stories of MP’s exploits are part of Australian surfing folklore. Searching for Michael Peterson features interviews with world champions, filmmakers and locals who watched the whole mad ride, along with classic footage of MP not seen for thirty years. See it at FLICKERFEST TODAY @ 4:30pm Bondi Pavilion. more info
