Plenty of swell still around

Calming

After a wild weekend of typhoon rain and rogue surf – conditions are calming down. The east swell is still with us, but half the size of yesterday. The Bra was exposed and had decent 4-5 footers this morning. It was quite random and required a lot of moving around to find the right one, but well worth getting wet.

Good day of surfing yesterday. The harbour was even breaking on Saturday (rare). Ours put on a few yesterday as did many breaks that don’t normally work. Hope you got a few.

After briefly analysing the swell charts for this week, it’s a nice change from last to see we’ve got 5 days of decent surfing ahead of us. This East swell will convert to SE swell by tomorrow. Winds seem to be in favour (predominantly North all week). best days: Wednesday and Thursday. Dang, can feel a coupla sickies coming on ::uge

  1. Love the two bra shots – backlit lip and black wash bump. Have noted the numbers and I can see christmas orders comping up. Great work. Everyday it’s a joy to open your email. Several of us are on the list and we always discuss the images. Keep it up!

  2. hey Uge, you’ve probably already rec’d a thousand emails about the dolphins at Bondi this morning but just in case you havent us bodysurfers had 8 or so of them right with ,around and under us ( mid way between the 2 surf clubs, with some great waves to boot ) for over 10 minutes playing( doing whale fin impersonations, with 2 even doing a synchronised swimming pirouette routine) and surfing ( they need to learn a bit of wave ettiquette but hey who’s complaining) – just wonderful, and the best we’ve had at Bondi – pity you were at Maroubra !!!.
