Perth, mini-punt on an insider

Corner traffic

Sorry about the lack of updates lately – it’s me not you.

Today the swell has managed to wrangle a 2-3 foot wave in the southern corner of Bondi. It looked great, when they came through, but it was very inconsistent…and crowded. It’s 2:50pm and the NW winds are hooooowling 25-30 knots. So paddling into them can be tricky and full of spray. I’d suspect that the gale will smash the little south swell leaving nothing for tomorrow – so best sample a few while you can.

How good was yesterday. I drove out of town with some retrenched buddies and scored 6 foot beachies. 2 guys out. Perfect. Watching 6-dudes-per-wave this morning at Bondi put me off…

Have a good day. 26 degrees outside right now – go to the beach ::uge

    1. Hi Steve, got plenty of shots from out of town. May post over next couple of days. This beachie was on fire Monday. 2 guys out. Hence no names.

  2. does any one know the angry crazy guy who surfs everyday after 5pm and swears on everyone and everything? i thought he wanted to fight but it looks like he’s just a good actor to get his wave )))

  3. Did you see the sunset on Monday arvo? I was in the water at AV & it had the deepest pinks high lighting the clouds I have seen in years! The water and the rest of the cloud cover were grey gun metal tones. Quite amazing.
