Perth Standlick, making childs play of the choppy conditions

Deus

Bondi is on-snore today. The howling southerly is still with us making mince of anything rolling in. At least it’s not crowded and there is the odd 2-3 peak. Sometimes the wind can put up a little lip at Bondi…a nice change from fattie Bondi. Clouds and rain will clear by lunch, winds will swing back to a optimal NE and it will only hit 24 degrees today.

Distractions

The prestigious Eddie Aikau Big Wave invitational is on today and you can watch it live here right now. Quite distracting really, so you might find it hard to get work done today. Also here are the finalist shots from Miss Bondi on the weekend, where Camille Pollett has been crowned Bondi’s 1st lady for ’09 with runner up Becky Lamb.

Random stuff – last month the Aquabumps website broke new traffic records. 100,000 unique readers hit the website in Nov 2009, this is excluding the 30,000 email subscribers…healthy numbers…thanks for your interest in my creepy corner of the web. 2010 will mark 11 years of this daily ramble!
