Maroubra 6:45am, Blake Thornton out before the storm

Extremes

Today is an interesting one. All media channels are reporting the storm from hell…it’s coming…

But at 6:30am I witnessed beautifully groomed head high sets at Maroubra baked in morning light.

At 7:00am the westerly winds blew dark, sinister storm clouds over my head. It rained. It rained some more. Then they disappeared and as I write this – I see sun.

Then a couple of readers down south wrote to me saying it’s snowing down there… (tripping?)…around the Gerroa area. So I just popped outside, again, and it looks fine.

Sounds like the bad weather is around the fringes of Sydney – but I am sure she’ll hit…soon…and we’ll all know about it.

Go get a pile of vids and nestle in for the weekend. Or come to our gallery, 151 Curlewis Street Bondi…it’s warm and dry in here.
