Springs coiled about to hit the pocket

F R E S H

After what feels like eternity we’ve finally got surf to talk about.

The swell drought has broken with fresh waist to shoulder high waves this morning.

The surf is trickling in from the East so beaches facing that way will attract more (i.e. not south facing Bondi)

The wind is a gentle 7 knots NW (clean conditions). The day is a stunner. Ridiculously good down there. The tide is going out and the water temp. is a comfortable 17-18 degrees. All that means a good beach day for those lucky enough not to be chained to an office cubicle.

Local long boarder and fellow lensman Chris Prestige shoots a pretty damn fine portrait/wedding. People ask me all the time for local shooters who do this kind of work – well, here he is!

Enjoy.
