Frankie loving the morning light at Bondi 6:00am

Beach People

I’ve written around 4,000 daily posts on Aquabumps over the past 15 years. That’s a lot of writing for a guy who got a C+ in English at school (I wasn’t big on school and spent most of my time wagging class to hide in the darkroom).

Sometimes coming up with something to write about can be excruciating. Like today. There’s barely any waves to discuss, no sharks (not in Bondi that is), no major happenings down the beach. Just a solid summer’s day with plenty of people up early enjoying the amazing weather.

So…enjoy your morning coffee whilst scrolling down through my pics…try spend your day outside.

If you are one of our many readers in The United Kingdom, order an unframed print today online and you shall receive it around the 16th December just in time for Chrissy. I recommend ordering unframed prints with border – they look best. Our online store has a fancy freight calculator – just add anything to your cart and all will be revealed. See artwork options

  1. Walked into General Pants the other day to get a new pair of thongs and came across the Aquabumps Haviana’s. Awesome! Bought a second pair for my brother for Xmas.

  2. First discovered Uge on Instagram & every pic takes me straight to the beach, rain or shine! Couldnt resist in buying The Beach Blog & it’s AMAZING! Everyone loves to look at it when round my place & it’s always a talking point! Worth every cent! Well done!

  3. I am a big fan of Aquabumps. I am a Sydney boy of old….sorry manly side. I love seeing the daily update.

Now I spend my time surfing D’Bar, Snapper, and Rainbow…and taking photos ..inspired by Aquabumps. Part of the year finds me doing the same thing in Biarritz, Anglet, Guethary …..in the Basque Country.

I have not yet got round to creating a blog or site, still too busy surfing, but do you have any suggestion?

  4. Hello Huge,
You make me miss Australia sooo much, but in the same time you put me a big smile on my face when I jump in my cold bed (yes, because when I receive you early morning daily email, I’m ready to go bed here up North!!!). The worst thing, I spent a year in Sydney area and have never been in Bondy :-/, what a sin. Hope to come down under again one day….. and enjoy Your beach (and create a photo documentary of a great water photographer)!

Have a great Summer! thanks for sharing your beautiful images. No need to write too much, your message reflects in your pictures .-) I express myself through my lense too (hope my English is not too bad)
