SoHo, looking down Broadway

SoHo

SoHo, or as it used to be known, South of Houston Street is a neighbourhood in New York City that is well known for its cast iron architecture, fashion, art and cobble stone streets. It’s like going back in time as most buildings are well over 100 years old and left unchanged.

I rate SoHo. It’s a cool area and it’s not as hectic (well, in comparison to mid-town where it feels like a stampede just walking down the street).

If only SoHo had a beach!

Some of these photos are taken from my apartment window. It’s pretty incredible staying right in the city whilst thousands of people surround you. If you wanna come to NYC, we found our loft apartment on Airbnb. There heaps to choose from right here.

Ok beach lovers, this is the last post from this mega-metropolis. The Bondi show will continue from Monday onwards. Thank you to all the New Yorkers that have emailed me, invited me to their homes and offered to show me around. Sorry if I haven’t emailed you all back…

Seeya NYC, we will be back real soon :: uge

  2. As a Bondi girl who has lived in NYC for 17 years I very much enjoyed your perspective on NYC and The Hamptons.

    1. hi jane.. i’ll see your 17 and raise you 7 !!

fun town, but these aquabump year round Bondi morning super snaps sure make a heart skip a beat.

  3. Love seeing your NYC shots from home as much as I loved the Bondi ones when I used to live in NYC!

Are you staying for Manhattanhenge on July 12th? Full sunset perfectly aligned on the grid.
