I’m having trouble shooting in the water with that south end rip! It’s giving me so much grief lately. Basically I have to get sucked out to sea, shoot a couple of lucky snaps in transition, end up out the back, loop back to the shore further down the beach and then repeat (x20). I agree, that rip is producing a fun little left, if you can sit on it. Surfers on boards are struggling too! It’s amazing how much water is moving for such small waves. I tried a new technique today, standing on the sand bank…but my nemesis drags me off the bank again…putting me back in my loop.
So here’s 5 photos taken in 70 minutes of rip struggle. I might go to another beach tomorrow!
