The Gong!

There is no doubting it, New South Wales is such a diverse and naturally gifted state. We have countless beaches with clear, warm, surfable water. I want to shoot them all. A helicopter helps with this mission. This morning I was flying around Wollongong, taking in all the nooks and crannies of the beachside haven. I was amazed at how empty the beaches were (with waves) and the abundance of ocean pools. Really good looking part of the state…very laid back!

If you want to win some Canon loot and love shooting around the state as much as I do, go here. Just share your pics and tag ’em #iloveNSW #newsouthwales

Now, other breaking news. Apparently, there is a dangerous fugitive on the run in Bondi right now…I have 6 police in my gallery as I write this. I’m hoping they pick up a few key pieces of artwork for their homes. Anyway, they’re not saying much but there is a lot of boys in blue in the ‘hood…the most I’ve seen since 2008 when we had our last Aquabumps street party and the riot squad turned up – true story! My wife was just told to stay inside and locks the doors?

  1. I read aquabumps daily but todays offering to the masses was, in my opinion, like licking the froth off my beard of my favorite coffee, twas good for seconds.

  2. i’ve seen that fugitive on monday morning while surfing, he tolled me he was going to ruin my surfing if i keep surfing his (bondi) beach , hahaha what a jerk he was 😀 .

  3. Hey mate, speaking of police I was surfing Sandon on sunday arvo and some poor bloke had his car stolen while in the surf for an hour. Maybe you could do a small side article on best practice for keeping you car safe and the products that work for keeping your key safe. This bloke had combination lock hanging off his door with the key inside and the thief still got in. Everyone seems to know someone that has had a car flogged, it all seems avoidable and not everyone has a surf key they can attach to their wet suit.

Yes it’s a shame it is called new South Wales, and I hate referring to myself as a new south Welshman…. really it’s stupid!
