Bonditis

This week’s south swell is actually hanging in there. Just. Waves are breaking in the 2-3 foot range and a grooming NW offshore is making for super clean conditions at Bondi. It’s still breaking very straight, shutting down, barely giving you an opportunity to get to your feet. Hell, it’s Friday with plenty of sunshine, so a swim or something aquatic is still the go.

This year I’m doing more things that are out of my comfort zone – like speaking at the Aperture Photography Conference on the 28th April. Aperture is offering a one time deal to the Aquabumps readers – buy tickets here and use the code AQUA150 for 150 buck discount. Pretty amazing line up with some photographers I really look up to, Murray Fredericks, Ken Duncan, Gary Heery, Alexia Sinclair, Krystal Wright and even Ray Martin!

  1. I love how much JOY the unicyclist brought to the beach. Heaps of shout-outs, a round of applause from the lifeguards and even the ‘cool kids’ cracked a smile.
