Hattrick

Yes, another cracker sunrise for this week – our third. Makes my job a helluva lot easier when the skies are ablaze with colour – basically, I can point my camera in any direction and shoot – and the images come up trumps.  For those non-morning people, we only usually get one cracker sunrise per month, maybe two if we’re lucky.

Waves department – yes, surf is up and breaking around head high on sets. The frothing crowds were off the hook. I am talking hundreds of surfers and plenty of the dangerous types. Most waves had 3-4 people on it. A lot of regulars paddled in with disgust. All I can say, this weekend is gonna be super cold and stormy – paddle out then if crowds aren’t your thing cause I am sure the line up will be vacant. There is a direct correlation between good (warm) weather and crowds (not so much wave quality).

There is only 1 more week to donate to our Surfaid Cup team. We’ve already raised nearly $8k for the extremely poor, needy people of remote Indonesia where I surf with mates every year (and am going in 2 weeks). I am so grateful to all those that have donated already – thank you. If you haven’t, now is your chance – good karma. Donate now

    1. Hi Mike, thanks for your feedback. Nah, didn’t mean it to sound like that. It was a pretty crazy dangerous morning with lots of people dropping in. Makes it dangerous for everyone when no one obeys the rules (even me shooting). A bit like going through red lights in your car.
