It may only be 2 foot, but the rip at the south end is like a wild rapid in the mountains.
I could barely swim against the rip with my camera to get into position for shooting…
For one hour, I was on loop. Sucked out, swim back in near 2nd ramp, drift to the corner, sucked back out, repeat. If I was lucky, I’d snag a shot of someone surfing whilst in transition. There’s waves to be had though, only on high tide. It’s not surfable on low tide.
I would like to thank the 40 Aquabumps subscribers that have donated to my Surfaid Cup team where we have raised $3,697.13 of my targeted $30,000. For the other 39,740 readers of my daily email, I would really appreciate some spare change of some sort. I only raise money for charity once a year. I know, I know, you get hit up every day…we all do. But if you love Aquabumps, and love my free daily email, or hell, even surf Indonesia where Surfaid helps out, please donate a few bucks. Terima kasih.
