#WFH

How we all going with this new ‘working-from-home’ thing? Mastered it yet? Our internet connection NBN keeps crappin’ out, for days at a time, so that makes online homeschooling/working interesting. In fact, nothing in our house works without the internet – including me!

You know when a slow cooker Carbonara recipe goes viral that we’re all a bit bored at home. Even the Bondi Lifeguards are restless, looking at a deserted beach – so they wrote a huge “STAY AT HOME” in the sand today.

My mother always said to me “Only boring people get bored”. The garden has been attended too, gutters clean, dripping taps fixed. TICK. The house never looked so good!

OK, I digress. Back to the empty beaches of Sydney. It’s one foot and not pumping. Kinda warm day with plenty of sunshine. Most beaches are under lockdown now, so even if you’re ‘exercising’ you won’t be able to enter the water.

Today’s pictorial escape is whisking you off to New Caledonia. Just a short hop on a direct flight from Sydney and you’re in French-speaking Pacific paradise! It’s so close, you could do a long weekend there. Seen my video?

  1. The Italians would have kittens. You can’t beat the real deal authentic Italian Carbonara for taste.
PS and they don’t add cream.

  2. Bonjour,
