Italian Lido

August in Europe is party-time. It’s when everyone takes a month off to hit the beaches, chill, and work on their tans.

This August, (now), most of Europe is back open for business. For example, Italy will let tourists land after a couple of jabs or a few tests to see if you have that spicy cough that’s taken over our world (no quarantine).

This week on the Amalfi Coast the weather will be a max of 33-35 degrees, little chance of rain – and the water will be a balmy 24…I like those digits. Dreamy…the Italian lido’s (beach clubs) will be busy(ish), the Aperols will be chilled and you can doze off into your arvo siesta…

For now, we’re stuck on this beautiful island of Australia whilst we tackle our nemesis – The Delta. I’m sure we will travel again soon, hopefully, these images will fill your cup up in the meantime.

I hope you’re all OK…
Looking forward to seeing you all.
Stay safe.

  1. Got a beautiful house at Filicudi with lovely garden overlooking the sea and 2 minute walk to the “beach”.
Check it out on Google Maps.
If there was surf there I would live there.
