Temperamental

I’ve returned from the outback and did my morning rituals down at Bondi – the weather is still volatile, just like when I spilt town.

Indeed…surely, the clouds are now spent? Sydney has had its wettest 16-day period on record (617.4mm) – half of our average rainfall (1213mm). Still, nothing compared to our devasted northern neighbours.

Bondi has waves in the 3-5 foot range and is pretty rogue. No one out at South Bondaka (that says it all). There are a few waves up north, but the water quality is very unappealing, murky, and green-brown from recent flooding. Even Icebergs looked pretty gross – wait until they clean it out.

VOLVO OCEAN LOVERS FESTIVAL POSTPONED
The Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival has been postponed due to all the rain – new dates 22nd -24th April More info

Chris Prestidge features on Aquabumps almost daily. When he’s not surfing at Bondi in the mornings, he’s a pretty darn good wedding and portrait photographer. Book him for your next gig – AtDusk
