The swell is up, and the temps are down! Oh boy, when that cold front rolled in yesterday, the temperatures plummeted 10 degrees in minutes. (min. 7.1 °C and max so far today 11 °C ). This morning we’re greeted with frosty well over head high surf and an empty beach.
Two frothers tackled the fruitful mid-Bondi rip bowl, which was spitting out the odd tube, but it was hard work staying in place.
The swell is growing and plentiful – the sun is out after a night of rain, and I reckon the mountains are full of snow. All good options.
I’m chucking the Out-of-office on and escaping the cold to find waves in remote Indonesia. Posts will be intermittent via satellite…whilst I work on my tan and barrel time. I’ve waited 3 years for this trip, Bon Voyage!
