Seeya 2022

Wow, we are here – the last day of 2021! I don’t usually post on Saturdays, but I’ve been off the grid for a while and wish you all a happy new year.

For me, 2022 was the year of endless challenges and the strangest year of my working career. I won’t bore you with details – but it was much harder to navigate than the previous two years of Covid. Most small businesses feel the same – I’m not alone!

An excellent outcome of 2022 is we are moving the Bondi Gallery onto prime Hall Street – after a developer has purchased the old 151 Curlewis gallery (yes, more apartments). So we should be opening the new space in the new year – very exciting.

Thanks to you all for tuning into Aquabumps. Thanks to all the customers of the gallery. Thanks to all the staff of Aquabumps – there’s a whole team behind this outfit – BB, Tee, JJ, Matty, Aims, Robb, Edie Finn, Vivi, Luisa, Cam, Kel – thanks, legends!

Todays post contains shots from 2022 that I’m into.

So as we cross the 2022 line, still a little frazzled from recent strange times – stop, chill and, more importantly, get into the ocean! Happy New Year.

P.S. Bondi Gallery is open 10-6 pm today, 31 Dec – but closed on New Year’s day 1st Jan 2023. Open 2nd Jan – see you then.
