Rosy

The early low tide wasn’t conducive to producing rideable waves at Bondi this morning. Waist to chest high surf, limping on shallow banks, mainly closing out straight. Perhaps a fuller tide will be more enjoyable.

Fortunately, the skies were relatively clear, and a nice ban of hot pink clouds was strewn across the atmosphere. I had the big, medium format, 16-bit 100 megapixels capturing the rosy dawn. (they print amazingly, by the way – so much detail when big).

OPENFIELD ARTS FESTIVAL – Berry
Check out this new contemporary arts festival OPENFIELD happening in Berry this month (23-25th June).

A bunch of local creatives have started this event to bring art to this cool country town.  Berry (on the South Coast) will be transformed with live and interactive artworks, photography and sculptures, including photographer Tamara Dean (dig her underwater artworks) and live music and films in the evenings.  The exhibitions are free to attend, and some ticketed events, too – you can pre-register here and go get some culture in the country.

That’s all folks.
