Eight Degrees of Separation

The mercury dipped to a crisp 8 degrees around 6am. Frosty, wasn’t it?

Like the past few days, it’s eerily quiet down the beach —1 foot, sunny skies, and barely a puff of wind. Glassy. Calm. Great for a dip, not much chop for the surfers. When it’s this still, the ocean drifts off into a deep slumber.

I remember shooting “Tranquil Bergs” from my collection on this exact day—June 18, 2023. The bay was lake-like. Completely stagnant. Probably the flattest I’ve ever seen it in all my years down here. The kind of stillness that makes for dreamy photos.

And here we are again, same page, two years later. Nature’s clock is bang on.

It’s that time of year again — EOFY is nearly here, and we’ve got a little bonus for our Aussie mates.

Spend over $700 at our Bondi Gallery and we’ll throw in our latest book for free. Yep, a sweet little gift from us to you. (Aussie customers only, sorry international crew!)

If you’ve been eyeing off something special from our small, local family-run biz — and love the idea of owning something entirely made in Bondi — now’s the time.

Order online or pop into the gallery — we’re open and ready. Need help? Call us on 02 9130 7788 or chat with us online — the whole team’s here and happy to help.

Have a ripper day,
