Party waves and candy skies — what a sensational morning down at Bondi. Light winds, a few runners, and thin cloud… for now. It’s the calm before the storm, literally — the rest of the week’s shaping up to be a washout.
This weekend? Wet. There’s 48mm of rain forecast for Saturday — might wanna cancel Saturday sport already. Bondi board riders club are having a tough run trying to run their comps… it’s either dead flat or 15-foot. This Sunday is go time… but the forecast says 10-foot.
Soak in the sunshine while you can, ‘cause you’ll likely be stuck indoors watching raindrops race down the window for the rest of the week.
Oh — big shoutout to North Bondi’s own (and my godson), Charlie Verco, who just claimed his third Molokaʻi‑2‑Oʻahu Unlimited Prone Paddleboard World Championship title. Yep, three! The kid’s a freak (and yes, I taught him everything he knows in the ocean). Go sling him a follow @char1ieverco and drop a congrats.
As you were,
