After weeks of grey dawns, Bondi finally turned it on this morning — a rare, vivid, long-lasting colour show. The warmer temps (17 degrees at sunrise… balmy!) dragged the crowds out early, and no one left disappointed.
The surf even chipped in. West offshores groomed a fun little rip bowl at Ramp Dos, with about 30 frothing groms swarming like vultures on a carcass — no wave was spared.
Soak it up while you can. A big front is rolling across the Great Australian Bight and temps are about to dip again.
Did you see the sunrise? If not, you’ve gotta set that alarm.

P.S. On this exact day one year ago, Bondi also lit up with colour. Maybe pencil this date into your diary — seems to be an annual sunrise skyshow! Proof: last year’s post.
