Combo swells from the east and northeast are in town — though Bondi’s serving up the tiniest, most inconsistent offerings. The light Monday crew were on duty, perched on 100-litre boards, picking off the odd set every 15 minutes and catching up on weekend gossip between waves.
A foggy, overcast start to the week. It’s around 25 degrees as I tap this out. The fog burned off earlier, but the cloud has rolled back in — feels like an overcast kind of afternoon ahead.
I’ve been surfing a bit lately. The water’s chilly, I reckon, but there’s always someone out there in bikinis and boardies — maybe I’m getting soft.
No major swell on the radar this week — just a bit of NE dribble. Small is the theme. Wednesday’s looking gloriously sunny and warm though.
Adios amigos,
