Calm the Farm

It’s slowly calming down — the ocean and the wind. After yesterday’s torrent, this morning was relatively clean and surfable. Not a full close-out either; you could snag the odd chest-to-head-high set with a couple of playful sections if you were in the right spot.

The lineup was strangely empty. Not sure if it was the dark, moody cloud cover, or folks still a bit spooked by the shark beacon lighting up offshore. The promenade, sand and surrounding parks were all eerily quiet… or maybe we’re just collectively trying to drag kids out of bed after an epic holiday break and force uniforms back on. Reality bites.

Cloudy all day today. Tomorrow though? That’s your beach day.
So be productive, tick off some work, and clock off early for your mid-week RDO (aka “working from home”) down the beach.

Onya, slackers.
