Friday the 13th might be unlucky for some, but if you’re a surfer, you’re in luck. It’s onshore, sure, but there are some fun, textured little bowls out there this morning in the waist to shoulder-high range.
The dawn was a moody one—a thick blanket of cloud overhead and a bit of a damp start with those scattered showers drifting through. Despite the gray, the water is a tropical 23°C, so if you don’t mind the “blown out” look, it’s actually a pretty pleasant morning for a dip.
Expect a very mild day with a top of 23°C and a low of 21°C. It’s looking similar all weekend, with a bit more rain predicted for Sunday.
